50 companies object to tokenized stocks on OKXICE: the tokenized stocks we can verify on-chain hold $189.3M
Figures as of Nov 2, 2026. This article is a dated snapshot and its figures are not updated. For current figures, see the live board: STRCon, SPYon, QQQon, TSLAon.
Fifty US-listed companies, including Nvidia, Microsoft and JPMorgan, have objected to third-party tokens of their shares trading on OKXICE. On our board, the 11 tokenized stock and ETF products we value from our own on-chain reads hold $189.3M, and none of them tracks a single stock on the objection list.
By RWAWeekly team · Nov 2, 2026 · Board data as of Nov 2, 2026 (RWAWeekly board snapshot)
The big picture: OKXICE, a joint venture owned 50/50 by Intercontinental Exchange and OKX's US holding company, listed 50 issuers that have objected to tokenized versions of their shares trading on its planned venue, in its public notice of Oct 30, 2026. The list includes Nvidia, Microsoft, Alphabet, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Walmart, Nike and Costco. On the RWAWeekly board, tokenized stocks are a small, separate category: 11 products with $189.3M in distributed value, listed outside our headline real-world asset total. Five Ondo tokens account for $158.6M of it, 83.8%.
How the issuer veto works
On Sept 17, 2026 the SEC granted a temporary, conditional exemption that lets "Tokenized Securities Venues" trade tokenized US-listed stocks through permissioned liquidity pools without registering as an exchange. One condition: before a venue lists a stock token created by an unaffiliated third party, it must give the company that issued the underlying shares written notice and a chance to object. Issuers have 30 calendar days, and a timely objection bars that token from trading on that venue under the exemption (TokenPost). The objection does not cover tokens the company sponsors itself, and it applies to the venue that sent the notice, not to tokenization in general. OKXICE's list grew from 38 issuers on Oct 28 to 50 on Oct 30.

Four of the five largest products are Ondo tokens. TSLAon is the only single-company common stock among our top seven; Tesla is not on OKXICE's objection list, and neither is Strategy. SPYon and QQQon track ETFs, not individual companies, although those ETFs hold shares of several of the objecting companies.
Where they sit
By chain, Ethereum holds $136.9M of the $189.3M (72.3%), followed by Stellar ($28.2M, all WisdomTree funds), BNB Chain ($20.7M), Base ($2.0M) and Solana ($1.4M). Under the SEC exemption, venues trade through permissioned liquidity pools. OKXICE's venue is still described as planned, so there is no on-chain supply for us to report there yet.
What X is saying
Posts mentioning tokenized stocks ran at 2,684, 1,523, 1,308 and 1,138 a day from Oct 29 to Nov 1 (UTC). The mood is split. Much of the volume is enthusiastic about stock tokens as collateral and 24/7 trading. The objections drew a more cautious response: one post said tokenized stocks "already have a permission problem", while others stressed that "the SEC did not ban anything" and that the rule simply gives issuers a veto. News accounts asked whether the objections could block the venue's launch list.
What the numbers don't tell you
- The whole market. Our subtotal covers only tokens we value from our own reads of on-chain supply and an issuer-published price. Wider market estimates include issuers and chains we do not yet cover, so they are not comparable with this figure.
- Who can buy. Stock tokens differ in the rights they give holders and in who may hold them. We do not assess either.
- Trading volume. We measure value held on-chain, not how much trades.
- What OKXICE will list. The objection list may grow until each issuer's 30-day window closes, and the venue's final symbols are not on our board.
