Editorial Policy & Corrections
Our standards
- Sources: issuer documents (prospectuses, fund factsheets, regulatory filings, contract data) and official sources such as regulators, the ESMA MiCA register and central banks come first. Next come our own datasets built from DefiLlama and on-chain data, then company press releases. Media and social posts are only a starting point for our own checks.
- Every number shows its source, a link and an "as of" date. Estimates are always labelled as estimates.
- Neutral language: we describe products and regulation without promoting them. Being registered or listed with a regulator does not mean the regulator has approved a product, or that the product is safe. For example, crypto-asset white papers in ESMA's register are not reviewed or approved by any authority.
- No advice: we never recommend buying, selling or holding any token, fund or asset. We don't project yields or returns.
- No copying: we link to original sources and write our own summaries. We never republish RWA.xyz figures.
- Sponsorship: sponsored content is always labelled "Sponsored Advertising Content" and kept separate from editorial content. Crypto sponsors are vetted before acceptance. Sponsors have no influence over data, rankings or coverage.
- Style: US English; dates in ISO format (YYYY-MM-DD) in data tables.
Corrections policy
We aim to be accurate. Every number we publish shows its source and an "as of" date.
If we get something wrong, we fix it as soon as we confirm the error. On the web, we update the page and add a dated note saying what changed. In the newsletter, we print the correction at the top of the next issue. Serious errors get a separate correction email to subscribers.
We do not silently change published figures, and we never change data or rankings because someone paid us.
Spotted an error? Reply to any issue or email [email protected], with a link and the source if you have one. We aim to respond within two business days.
